Voyah, auto manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Co's premium electric vehicle (EV) brand, unveiled its world-class 4.0 digital factory on Aug 27.
The digital factory brings together world-leading technologies such as big data, edge cloud, AI and the Internet of Things, and has an efficient and intelligent stamping workshop, automatic welding workshop, dust-free intelligent environmental protection painting workshop, automatic resin workshop and digital assembly workshop.
Voyah's stamping workshop has a high-speed synchronous stamping line with steel-aluminum mixed production functionality. Its flexibility, refinement and efficiency are among the top in the world. Its production speed is 7 seconds/piece, with a max speed of 4 seconds/piece.
Its painting workshop uses high-quality water-based paint materials for fully automated painting, has fully automatic laser drilling, and supports the customized production of six colors.
As the last step of the automobile manufacturing process, Voyah's assembly shop can open up front-end sales and production back-end data to realize full digital operation. The software version, configuration, function, and abnormal or normal conditions of the entire vehicle can be traced.
Earlier in June, Voyah launched its first mass-produced car model – Voyah Free, a medium to large intelligent electric SUV.
The Voyah Free cars will be delivered to customers in installments, starting in August.
