A new science and technology enterprise incubator, located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, has recently been approved as a municipal incubator, marking new progress in the development zone's innovation and entrepreneurship.

The New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Specialized Incubator is developed by Wuhan New Energy Automobile Industry Technology Research Institute Co, which focuses on subdivided industries in the fields of new energy and intelligent networking, and integrates various innovative elements.

It will develop a highly specialized incubation system as well as a dual innovation service platform to achieve precise incubation.

Earlier in 2013, the WHDZ joined hands with Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT) to establish Wuhan New Energy Automobile Industry Technology Research Institute Co, which aims to promote the research and development, incubation and industrialization of key technologies for new energy vehicles.

The development zone and WHUT continue to expand and deepen their cooperation and signed a cooperation agreement in June this year to jointly build the Wuhan Institute of Artificial Intelligence and New Energy Automobile Industry Technology to serve the automobile industry cluster development in Hubei.

The project includes three institutes: the New Energy Automobile Industry Technology Research Institute, the Artificial Intelligence Industry Technology Research Institute, and the Artificial Intelligence Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Institute. All institutes gather elements of innovation and entrepreneurship to create a highland of talents.
