Two companies based in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, have been included in the list of Wuhan's second batch of demonstration bases for entrepreneurship incubation, according to local media reports.
The first company, Wuhan CCSE International Enterprise Development Co mainly provides tailor-made office space and services for enterprises involved in industry and commerce, finance and taxation, legal services, human resources, business planning, roadshows, investment services and financing for startups.
So far, the company has introduced two national-level high-end talents, 14 high-end talent entrepreneurship projects developed by overseas returnees, 18 entrepreneurship projects participated by doctors, and more than 460 enterprises have been incubated.
It has hosted large-scale forums and events such as the Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing in China, and Entrepreneurship Wuhan, a serial competition.
It has incubated 12 national high-tech enterprises, cultivated three Huanghe Talents, one Chedu Talent, and one Hubei Modern Service Industry Leader.
The second company, Hubei Hopefound Education Technology Co mainly provides a platform for innovation, entrepreneurship, and creation of entrepreneurs and employees, and forms a complete three-innovation service system integrating training, service incubation, competition activities, and resource matchmaking.
At present, the company has incubated 497 companies, and has introduced more than 320 projects.
It has declared more than 950 patents and intellectual property rights, and has held more than 160 innovative and entrepreneurial activities.
In addition, it has introduced investment projects worth some 100 million yuan ($15.44 million), and has served more than 21,000 entrepreneurs.
Currently, the WHDZ is making every effort to build a new highland for entrepreneurship and innovation, accelerating the accumulation of innovative resources. It boasts a batch of innovation platforms, including the Jingkai Zhizao Technology Business Incubator and Southern Taizihu Innovation Valley.
A total of two national enterprise technology centers and 48 enterprise technology platforms above the provincial level have been introduced to the development zone.
