Wuhan Gold Spring Food and Beverage Co, which is based in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, has recorded growth in its output value over the past years.
The company is a large-scale enterprise engaged in research and development, production and sales of sour plum soup, concentrated fruit juice and solid beverages.
The company jointly developed a food and beverage industry-university-research (IUR) base in the WHDZ with Hubei University of Technology.
The two parties gave full play to their respective advantages to carry out multi-form and multi-level IUR cooperation in standard formulation, process improvement, quality improvement, new product research and development, and intelligent manufacturing.
Earlier in 2018, the company launched a school-enterprise cooperation program with Hubei University of Technology. Relying on the university's School of Food and Biological Engineering and the Hubei Provincial Food Fermentation Engineering Technology Research Center, the company participated in the joint construction of the enterprise-school joint innovation center.
The close cooperation between the school and the enterprise over the past years yielded new results in 2019. The sweet-scented osmanthus-flavored plum soup drink produced by the company won the three-star Superior Taste Award, which was granted by the International Taste Institute in Belgium.
At present, the company has cooperated with well-known brands, including Hema Fresh and Lifease, and its main products have been sold in large offline stores, such as Carrefour, RT-Mart, Wal-Mart, Wushang Lianghu, and Zhongbai Cangchu.
