The 2021 Wuhan University Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition – the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone division – was recently launched, with the top prize set at 500,000 yuan ($77,450), according to local media reports.
The zone, also known as the WHDZ, is located in Wuhan city, capital of Central China's Hubei province.
As one of nine rounds of the competition, the development zone contest focuses on intelligent manufacturing, closely following the development trends in the sector.
The competition is divided into three sections: the preliminary heats, semi-finals and finals.
The selection of projects to compete will be completed by July 31. The preliminary and semi-finals will be held in August and the final selection will be held in September.
