The Hubei Swire Coca-Cola Beverage Co – located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone in Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province – is moving up its efforts towards its intelligent transformation.

That's according to the local media, which reported that to date the company has made a total investment in the area of more than 20 million yuan ($3.09 million).

As a result, the company's production efficiency has reportedly increased by 3.11 percent and its output value has grown by 18 percent.

Since December 2017, the company has successively introduced eight smart production lines manufactured by world-leading engineering groups – including Germany's KHS and Krones – as well as a suite of advanced equipment from home and abroad.

The entire production operation is now automatically controlled by computer, enabling it to produce 66,000 cans per hour and 42,000 plastic bottles per hour.

The company has reportedly used SAP and other systems to optimize its equipment maintenance. This has greatly streamlined each process, accelerating the efficiency of each production stage and improving production management.

It is understood that the utilization rate of output has increased and the production planning cycle has been greatly shortened.

In addition to the introduction of new cutting-edge production lines, the company has also increased its investment in technological transformation over the past three years, successively renovating production equipment and auxiliary equipment.
