WHDZ official meets with Moldovan Ambassador to China

Liu Ziqing, secretary of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) working committee, met with Dumitru Braghis, Moldovan Ambassador to China, on June 2, according to local media reports.

Liu extended his warm welcome to Mr Braghis.

According to Liu, as a national-level economic and technological development zone, WHDZ attaches great importance to opening up to the outside world and deeply integrating itself into the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.

WHDZ and Moldova are highly complementary in the areas of economy and trade, investment, agriculture, education and other fields, and have great potential for cooperation. It is hoped that the two sides will continue to deepen friendly official exchanges, strengthen cooperation in the field of trade and investment, deepen exchanges in the fields of education and tourism, and promote their common development.

Mr Braghis said that in recent years, China and Moldova have seen close exchanges and cooperation, and that he is very much looking forward to further in-depth exchanges and visits to WHDZ to jointly seek opportunities for cooperation in more fields, especially in the traditional Chinese medicine industry.
