A total of 14 leading domestic and foreign companies in sectors including tourism, hotels, culture, sports and industrial incubation reached strategic cooperation agreements with the International Smart Ecological City in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), during an investment signing conference held on June 4.

The company combines ecological tourism, outdoor sports, science education and environmental resources, and successfully developed the Discovery Adventures Park in Moganshan Scenic Area in East China's Zhejiang province.
Gu Xiaokang, planning director of APAX Entertainment Greater China, said that APAX Entertainment hopes to bring this model to Wuhan, and even to the whole country. He said the concept of the deep integration of the four major industries of culture, sports, tourism and education will create a new immersive experience for visitors to Wuhan.
The WHDZ International Smart Ecological City, developed by Sunac China Holdings and Beijing Capital Land, includes three major sections - the Smart Yangtze River Vitality Center, the Wuhan International Ecological Cultural Tourism Zone and the Innovation Model Zone for Industry-city Integration.
In the future, according to the plan, the place will be built into a smart ecological city aggregate that integrates the economy, landscape, global transportation hub, commercial business, cultural leisure, and residences.
