Beijing Zhongchuangwei Quantum Communication Technology Co is ready to set up its Central China headquarters in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, with more than 30 managers of the preparatory team officially settled into the preparatory center.
The headquarters project is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2021.
As part of the new generation of information technology, quantum technology has extremely advanced security features that are not available in traditional communication methods. It thus has important strategic significance and broad prospects in the fields of future national technological competition, emerging industry cultivation, national defense and economic growth.
As a national high-tech enterprise, Zhongchuangwei Quantum focuses on the industrialization of quantum technology, and aims to provide practical quantum communication application solutions for defense, finance, government affairs, energy and other fields.
At present, the company is one of the few service providers in the world that can provide a complete set of secure quantum communication system equipment and holistic solutions. Currently, about 40 percent of its employees are top-level researchers in the field of quantum communications.
The headquarters project will be responsible for all business in Central China, including management, operation, research and development, sales, production and procurement.
The project will also see the construction of the Zhongchuangwei Quantum Communication Industrial Park, which will undertake research, development and production projects with quantum products.
In addition, a quantum secure communication demonstration network platform will be established.
