International students have a ball at WHDZ school festival

Adorable little girl dancers take a twirl on stage at the Wuhan Yangtze International School in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, or WHDZ – located in Wuhan city, in Central China's Hubei province – on May 15. Parents of international students take pictures of the performances staged by their loved ones during the festival, on May 15. The school reportedly attaches great importance to diverse student groups. It is said that through holding such international festivals, students can better understand the customs and characteristics of various countries and expand their horizons. Special dishes are on offer at the festival, May 15. In the school cafeteria, students and parents wear the traditional costumes of their own countries and tuck into delicacies such as Portuguese egg tarts, Japanese cuisine and Chinese meatballs. The 13 display stands there covered gastronomic specialties from China, the United States, South Korea, Japan, Australia and other countries. [Photo provided to en.whkfq.gov.cn]
