The China Sports Venue Association's (CSVA) Sports Service Standard Research Center was officially launched in South Taizihu Innovation Valley in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) on April 21, as part of WHDZ's efforts to become a new highland for the domestic sports industry.
The research center will work on the establishment and revision of sports venue service standards, their promotion and application, testing and evaluation, product development, professional consulting services, and professional training and assessment.
According to CSVA officials, the center is to settle in WHDZ due to the rich resources of sports venues in the development zone and the strength of Wuhan Sports University's research and faculty.
As an organization directly affiliated to CSVA, the establishment of the center will help promote a unified standard system in the classification and service specifications of all types of stadiums at all levels across the country.
