A digital projection lithography industry base project is scheduled to settle at Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China’s Hubei province, following a cooperation agreement signed with GIS Tech Inc on March 22, according to local media reports.
The industry base, with an investment of 1.5 billion yuan ($230 million), will be located in the WHDZ Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
GIS Tech Inc is an international, high-tech, multi-field intelligent process solution service provider. The company provides intelligent manufacturing solutions for new energy, semiconductor packaging, IC substrates, electronic glass, advanced light sources, photosensitive materials, MEMS and other fields.
The digital projection lithography industry base will serve as the company’s R&D, production, and sales lithography business headquarters. The main products will include curved mobile phone glass, automotive displays, camera precision structural parts, and wearable curved glass.
The company's core products, in particular its curved display lithography process, have been certified by leading companies including Tesla. The annual shipment is expected to reach 1.2 million pieces, corresponding to an export output value of more than 300 million yuan.
