Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, is to upgrade its educational resources by opening six new schools in 2021, according to local media reports.

These include one middle school, one primary school and four public kindergartens.

In September 2021, the new campuses of Hannan Yucai Middle School and Hannan Yucai Second Primary School will officially open their doors. Both campuses will have 36 classes.

Xinhua Kindergarten, Fenghua Wei'an Kindergarten, Liantou Golden Harbor Phase III Kindergarten, and New Yangtze River Kindergarten will also be put into use.

In addition, the primary and secondary schools to start construction in 2021 include Guanshidun Primary School, Huangling Primary School (being reconstructed in another place), and the WHDZ No 2 Middle School (also being reconstructed in another place).

Five schools in densely populated areas such as WHDZ No 1 Middle School, WHDZ No 1 Middle School, and Sanjiaohu Primary School will also begin reconstruction and expansion this year. Following their expansion, the five schools will add 126 classes to maximize the supply of high-quality educational resources.
