A mobile CT scan cabin developed in Wuhan, Central China’s Hubei province, went into operation in Nangong, Xingtai in North China's Hebei province on Jan 13, performing imaging examinations for people who have a fever, according to local media reports.

The mobile CT scan cabin is equipped with 5G equipment.

Using 5G and mobile internet, the mobile CT scan cabin can remotely connect with the medical imaging department of Zhongnan Hospital at Wuhan University. The front-end scanned images can be transmitted to the hospital's diagnosis platform in time to realize remote reading, intelligent diagnosis, and reporting.

The mobile CT scan cabin can speed up the efficiency of patient diagnosis and treatment and reduce the risk of infection among medical staff members.

In addition, China Mobile has set up a dedicated internet line for the mobile CT scan cabin to ensure the smooth flow of information.
