Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, has been conducting epidemic prevention and control measures, according to local media reports.

To enter shopping malls in the development zone, including Walmart and Zhongbai Supermarkets, residents need to show their health codes and have their body temperature measured, and also be wearing a mask.

During peak hours, customers are required to enter the malls in quieter periods.

According to staff members, there is a special registration book for elderly people who do not know how to use smart phones. After filling in their name, address, ID number and other information, they can enter the malls, provided they are wearing a mask.

At the development zone's railway stations and coach terminals, staff members in protective clothing check the IC card information of incoming passengers, and the automatic temperature detection equipment measures the passengers' body temperature.

Passengers can enter waiting rooms after showing their ticket and ID card. They must be wearing a mask, have their body temperature measured, and not possess any prohibited items.

At the zone's government service center, citizens should line up to scan their QR code to enter.

Automatic thermometers are set up at the entrance, which improve inspection efficiency while ensuring the accuracy of temperature measurements.

In the service center, staff members disinfect the place on a regular basis, and all staff members and citizens must wear masks and keep a safe distance.
