Chassis Brakes International (Wuhan) Co, located in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, is expected to reach an annual sales volume of 900 million yuan ($137.43 million) this year, according to local media reports.
The figure will mark the company's best performance since its establishment in 2012.
With the recovery of the automobile market in the second half of the year, customer demand for brands including Daimler-Benz, Geely, and Great Wall soared, and orders for parking motors and calipers exceeded 2 million yuan.
Chassis Brakes International (Wuhan) Co, a wholly foreign-owned enterprise, primarily produces electronic brake systems for automobiles. It is the main supplier of Dongfeng, SAIC GM, Ford, SAIC Volkswagen, and BAIC.
The WHDZ has been encouraging its resident companies to make the transition to intelligent manufacturing and production in order to reduce raw material losses, reduce operating costs and improve output efficiency.
The company has successively put four caliper assembly lines and five parking motor assembly lines into operation.
Since 2018, Chassis Brakes' per capita output of caliper wires has increased by 207 percent; the per capita output of motor wires has increased by 105 percent; and the failure rate has decreased by 90 percent. Intelligent transformation has brought a series of overall benefits to the company.
