The 2020 China International Industrial Design Expo opened in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on Dec 11, displaying the latest products developed by over 300 key industrial design companies from around the world, according to local media reports.
The three-day event marked the largest and highest-level industry expo in the national industrial design field.
Wuhan has always regarded industrial design as an important element of urban development, and promoted industrial innovation through design innovation.
According to officials from the city's economy and information technology bureau, industrial design has become an important force in promoting the continuous conversion of new and old economic kinetic energy and in the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.
