Voyah, auto manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Co's premium electric vehicle (EV) brand, has, according to local media reports, officially released the name of its first mass-produced car model - Voyah Free.
Voyah Free, a medium or large intelligent electric SUV, offers two power options including pure electric and extended-range electric. It is equipped with high-end features such as a front double wishbone, rear multi-link independent suspension and air suspension.
Voyah has recently made good progress on the vehicle's development, with the first "body-in-white" (BIW) for its medium and large high-end smart electric SUVs rolling off the assembly line on Nov 6.
The BIW is the stage in production where a car body's frame has been joined together, before painting and the engine, chassis sub-assemblies, or trim have been integrated into the structure.
On Nov 25, Voyah's pre-production medium and large high-end smart electric SUV models rolled off the assembly line.
The car model will be launched and delivered to customers during the third quarter of 2021.
