The 'Research and Application of Personalized and Highly Reliable Intelligent Active Safety Core Technology' project, developed by Dongfeng Technical Center, won third prize at the China Automotive S&T Awards, it was announced at a ceremony held in East China's Shanghai.
The project is based on the consideration of road safety situations, and conducts independent research and development on complex domestic road conditions, cruise comfort and the active safety requirements of meeting individualization.
Starting from four major innovative technology points, the project has developed a highly reliable intelligent active safety technology that meets China's complex road conditions and the driving habits of Chinese drivers, and combines safety, economy and comfort.
To date, the project has accumulated more than 5 million scenario library data, built a typical Chinese traffic scenario library, and realized a modular and scalable active safety technology development platform, laying a solid foundation for subsequent technological innovation.
The project has also been installed in four Dongfeng Aeolus car models - AX4, AX5, AX7, and Yixuan - greatly enhancing Dongfeng Aeolus' brand power.
