Enterprises in the health industry from Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) are taking part in the second World Health Expo, which opened in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on Nov 11.
The exhibition area of this year's session covers an area of 150,000 square meters, with more than 1,200 companies participating. A total of 12 special venues including the anti-epidemic material hall, medical equipment hall, and Chinese medicine hall have been set up, covering the entire industry chain of the 'big health' sector.
More than 100 high-end forums and conferences will also be held at the event, such as the Big Health Industry Summit Forum, Big Health Academician Forum and Global University Leaders Forum.
The A3 Medical Equipment Pavilion is supported by WHDZ. The overall scale of the hall is 10,000 square meters, with 185 companies participating in the exhibition, focusing on presenting the latest products in the field of medical equipment, helping the health expo to build an international brand.
The Smart Eco-City located in WHDZ was invited to attend the event. Established in 2015, it is located between the central area of Zhuankou and Shamao New City. Its jurisdiction covers an area of 90 square kilometers.
It is a key park that embodies the innovation and transformation of WHDZ.
In recent years, the Smart Eco-City has actively created a large health industry, and high-end projects totaling more than 80 billion yuan ($12.06 billion) have successively settled in the park.
The exhibition area of Tusincere Wuhan Sci-Tech Innovation Park displayed a large number of "hard technology" projects such as the Sino-Japanese Medical Technology Innovation Center, the MIKOTO endoscopic surgery robot, smart clothing, and a non-invasive blood lipid meter.
