Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province, reported a recovery in its economic development during the first three quarters of 2020, according to local media reports.
Data shows that in the first three quarters of the year, WHDZ completed a total of 192.07 billion yuan ($28.62 billion) in total industrial output value. The total output value of the construction industry during this period was 46.59 billion yuan, and the growth rate ranked second in the city.
To maintain steady economic development in the fourth quarter of this year, alongside achieving positive results in epidemic prevention and control, the development zone held a working conference on Oct 24, analyzing the outstanding problems facing the local economy, and deploying targeted economic policies in the fourth quarter.
