The international education resources in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, are set for further growth, with the Wuhan ISA International School confirmed to settle in the zone, according to local media reports.

Construction work on the school is scheduled to start at the end of the year.

The school project, with an investment of 1.06 billion yuan ($159 million yuan), will cover an area of 170 mu (11.33 hectares).

It will be built in accordance with international standards, so as to attract high-end international education-related enterprises, enhance the region's attractiveness to international elite talents, and form an international education ecosystem covering international education, sports, and art.

The ISA International School's Wuhan campus will boast two schools, with one specifically targeting international students.

It will provide a full international education, from kindergarten and elementary school to middle school and high school, for students aged 2-18.

The school plans to start enrollment in September 2022 and enroll more than 2,000 students from Central China.
