The Wuhan New Energy and Smart Car Industrial Park began construction in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on Sept 22, according to local media reports.
The completion of the industrial park project is expected to accelerate the accumulation of capital, technology and talents into the entire industrial chain of the digital intelligence network terminal in WHDZ, provide high-quality bearing space for industrial agglomeration and technological innovation, and support the development of the intelligent networked vehicle industrial chain.
The project is constructed and, when it is completed, will be operated by Wuhan Lianchuang Culture, Sports Tourism Investment Development Co, a subsidiary of Wuhan Chedu Co.
The total land area of the project is about 240 mu (16 hectares), and the planned total construction area is about 420,000 square meters.
In the future, it will be developed into a modern industrial park consisting of five core functional sections: an industrial incubation center, a data production center, a living supporting service center, a conference exhibition center, and a laboratory group.
The industrial park will introduce high-quality social capital to participate in management and operation, and use fully intelligent management based on intelligent terminal services as a means to provide high-quality scientific research office infrastructure and living service facilities for high-end talents and institutions in the industry in WHDZ.
