The Hannan Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital, located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (also known as WHDZ or Hannan) in Wuhan, Hubei province, now offers child healthcare services following an agreement signed with Wuhan Children's Hospital, according to local media reports.
In September 2019, WHDZ and Wuhan Children's Hospital signed an agreement to establish a maternal and child health community. Wuhan Children's Hospital sent its director and medical staff members to Hannan Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital.
In January of this year, Hannan Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital, relying on the high-quality resources of Wuhan Children's Hospital, successfully passed its National Secondary Level Maternity and Child Health Hospital review, realizing the upgrading of medical standards.
At the end of June, the Hanyang outpatient department of Wuhan Children's Hospital was wholly relocated to Hannan Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital, which accelerated the pace of pediatric medical (health) service capacity building in WHDZ.
So far, Wuhan Children's Hospital has sent experts to conduct pediatric internal medicine, traditional Chinese medicine pediatrics, children's ultrasounds, radiology and other services, adding more than 20 inspection and testing services to Hannan Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital.
