A multifunctional comprehensive community service center is to be developed in Jianhua community in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), integrating functions such as dispute mediation, education and training, physical fitness, and day care for the elderly.

Jianhua community was established in May 2004.

The community consists of three villages -- Jianhua village, Zhangwang village, and Dianta village -- and has a total area of about 210,000 square meters.

The community is divided into three residential communities: Jianhua A, B, and C. It was completed and put into use in 2003. There are a total of 39 buildings with 92 units in total. There are 2,858 households and a total community population of 6,132.

Due to the early construction of the community, the infrastructure in the community is relatively basic; there is no convenient service center, and no cultural or sports entertainment venues.

The new community service center is to be built in the southeast corner of Zone B of Jianhua community. It is a three-story single-family building with a height of 11.4 meters. It covers an area of 1,923.12 square meters, with a total construction area of 1,281.42 square meters.

Currently, the project is undergoing preliminary construction procedures and will start construction this year.
