The National Big Data Alliance of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) 2020 Results Conference cum Safe Intelligent Electric Vehicle Summit Forum opened in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Hubei province, on Sept 15, and plotted a path for the development of NEVs.

More than 500 guests from more than 100 industry chain companies working in areas like complete vehicles, batteries, core components, and internet software and hardware gathered together to conduct in-depth discussions, exchanges and analysis on key issues, such as the safety and intelligence of NEVs, in order to contribute to the steady and sustainable development of the industry.

According to WHDZ officials, WHDZ is making every effort to build a globally-competitive automotive manufacturing and service industry cluster, actively introducing smart chips and other next-generation automotive core parts industry projects, and vigorously developing automotive aftermarket industries such as travel, trading, and data services.

The event witnessed the release of the NEV big data blue paper -- Annual Report on the Big Data of New Energy Vehicle in China (2020).

Based on millions of real-time monitoring data from the national platform, this report re-studies the latest trends of NEVs from the perspective of big data, and analyzes the operating rules of new energy vehicles in diversified application scenarios.

The report categorizes each segment of application scenario, such as the promotion of private cars, taxis, buses and other models, power battery conditions, vehicle usage habits, energy saving and emission reductions.

It also puts forward reasonable suggestions on the economic problems and vehicle breakdowns that may arise in the development of NEVs.
