A China-Europe freight train loaded with 618.6 tons of medical supplies and cross-border e-commerce export products departed from Wuhan in Central China's Hubei province on Sept 12, bound for Duisburg, Germany.
One of the large containers carrying five tons of beer produced in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region will be transferred to Estonia in Eastern Europe, making it the first cross-border e-commerce B2B export product transported by China-Europe freight train (Wuhan).
On Aug 13, the General Administration of Customs included the Wuhan customs area in the second batch of cross-border e-commerce B2B export pilot customs areas.
The resulting policies brought about by Wuhan's inclusion in the cross-border e-commerce B2B export supervision pilot have changed customs clearance procedures, optimized the product export process, and reduced the pressure on enterprises' long capital turnover.
