Junsha Avenue located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) -- in Wuhan, capital city of Central China’s Hubei province -- is set to open to traffic in September after major renovation, according to WHDZ officials.

They said the Junsha Avenue project is being undertaken by CCCC Second harbor Engineering Co No 6 Branch.

On Aug 12, the road drainage engineering and a new bridge over Junsha Avenue (running from East Guanlianhu Road to South Tongshunhe Road) was fully completed and the main work was inspected and accepted.

The section is expected to be officially opened to traffic in September, adding convenient passage from Junshan to Shamao in the WHDZ.

The avenue, 3.76 kilometers in total length, has a design speed for vehicles of 60 kilometers per hour and has six lanes in both directions.

Construction work began in December 2017.

The project department adopted a smart construction site visual management platform.

This integrated the internet, intelligent hardware and construction site management on the platform. It also intelligently assisted the scientific decision-making of the project, through big data intelligent analysis and risk pre-control.
