Wuhan development zone school to upgrade, expand

Wuhan Jingkai Foreign Language School -- in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan city in Central China's Hubei province -- is to move to a new site within the zone and expand substantially, according to WHDZ officials.

The development project, being undertaken by Wuhan Chedu Real Estate Co, will relocate the school at the original location of WHDZ No 2 Middle School.

Wuhan Jingkai Foreign Language School was the first school approved and co-established by the Wuhan education bureau and managed by Wuhan Foreign Language School.

The school will have elementary school, junior high school, high school and an international department.

It will enroll 4,000 students on completion.

Officials said the school plans to develop its brand in the next three to five years, serving the surrounding areas.
