As of 10 pm on July 20, according to statistics from Maoyan -- the platform for movie ticket purchases and data collection -- Wuhan’s cinemas had screened films 57 times, with more than 1,700 viewers and a box office take of 47,000 yuan ($6,707).
As of 9 pm on July 20, statistics showed that a total of more than 20 new and re-released films were screened.
