CA Food Testing (Wuhan) Co is to settle in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) – located in Wuhan city in Central China’s Hubei province – following the recent signing of an agreement, according to WHDZ officials.
A company spokesman said that food safety has always been the focus of social attention. The company cooperates with well-known domestic universities and has a strong team of staff and technical support.
Meanwhile, the WHDZ enjoys a strong industrial base with Coca-Cola, Master Kong and other food companies having settled in the zone and the food inspection and testing market there is broad.
CA Food is a third-party food safety testing service agency developed by the technical team of food safety experts from the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering at China Agricultural University.
It focuses on the detection and research of relevant microbiological hygiene indicators of food, processing equipment and the environment.
The company has business in Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi and other regions and places across China and its customers are mainly KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut and other leading enterprises.
At present, there are about 50 food inspection agencies in Wuhan and only a few large-scale food inspection agencies in the WHDZ.
Officials said the introduction of the company will further enhance the competitiveness of the industry and improve the service quality of food inspection agencies in the WHDZ.
