The Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) -- located in Wuhan city in Central China's Hubei province -- is to cooperate with China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co in smart home development, according to a forum held on June 23, attended by WHDZ representatives and representatives of the company.

Under the agreement, the company will increase its current levels of investment in the WHDZ, focusing on the strategic development goal of creating a "Smart Home Capital" -- giving full play to its own advantages and widely participating in the construction of the development zone.

China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co is a leading company in the construction of smart homes.

WHDZ officials said it was ranked first in the top 200 competitive enterprises in China's construction industry.

In the wake of the novel coronavirus outbreak, more than 40,000 of its employees participated in the construction of Huoshenshan and Leishenshan pop-up hospitals.

In 1996, the company undertook the Wuhan Coca-Cola Plant Project located in the WHDZ. Also in 1996, the project won the China Construction Engineering Luban Prize, marking the first project in the WHDZ to win the honor.

The following year, China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Green Industry Investment Co was registered in the WHDZ.
