Zhixin Technology Co is to cooperate with State Grid Hubei Electric Power Co in next-generation automotive infrastructure construction, with a letter of intent for strategic cooperation signed on June 15, according to the official WeChat account of Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) -- located in Wuhan in Central China’s Hubei province.
WHDZ officials said the two companies established a formal strategic partnership, after reaching an agreement, confirming the major directions for the strategic undertaking.
These include strengthening the integration of new energy internet and industrial internet, building an electric vehicle travel service system and charging model innovations.
They also include joint research and exploration of two-way interactive technology and business models for electric vehicle technology and a future power grid, as well as promoting the construction of charging infrastructure and operations model innovations.
Officials said the two companies would further promote cooperation in the fields of smart pure electric vehicle products, charging and discharging technologies, charging infrastructure networks, as well as the energy internet and the industrial internet.
By expanding new business models, they are expected to improve asset operational efficiency and increase economic and social benefits.
