A recruitment fair featuring modern manufacturing kicked off at Wuhan Business University in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) on June 8, attended by some 2,600 college and university graduates, according to WHDZ officials.
A total of 65 enterprises attended the event in the WHDZ -- located in Wuhan City in Central China's Hubei province -- offering 2,718 job opportunities.
Besides modern manufacturing, the job vacancies also included industries such as the service sector, internet and the biomedical industries.
According to the requirements of novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control, job seekers needed to scan the QR code to register and enter the venue. The number of people in the venue was strictly controlled.
According to staff members from the Wuhan Talent Service Center, there are ample job opportunities in Wuhan and 250,000 high-quality jobs will be offered to graduates this year.
