A China-Europe freight train loaded with 35 containers of COVID-19 control and prevention materials departed Wuhan for Duisburg in Germany on Wednesday.
The materials, weighing 303.8 tonnes, included face masks, protective suits and surgical gowns which were all manufactured in Hubei Province, according to the China Railway's Wuhan bureau.
The train is expected to arrive in the German city in 15 days.
Tang Wanyi, who is with the bureau, said the station gave the green light to the train during scheduling and loading.
On May 9, the once virus-hit city sent another freight train loaded with anti-virus supplies to Belgrade.
