Major auto manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Co signed off on a series of auto project with Wuhan city in Central China’s Hubei province, during a signing event held on June 3 -- targeting cooperation between Hubei and State-owned enterprises directly managed by the central government -- according to local media reports.
Local city officials said the auto projects will attract an investment of 10 billion yuan ($1.41 billion).
During the signing event, a total of 34 SOEs directly managed by central government signed 72 projects with Hubei, with a total investment of 327.73 billion yuan.
These involved the new energy sector, ecological and environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing, information technology, medicine and health, industry-city integration, infrastructure construction and other fields.
Among the signed projects, there are 48 projects with an investment of more than 1 billion yuan and nine projects with an investment of more than 10 billion yuan.
