On the basis of subsidies already provided by the Wuhan municipal government, a series of additional subsidies have been added to make it easier for residents to buy cars in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) -- in Wuhan city in Central China’s Hubei province -- according to WHDZ officials.

From May 14 to the end of this year, customers who buy cars produced, sold and licensed in Wuhan can enjoy a subsidy of 5,000 yuan ($704) to 10,000 yuan.

Auto maker Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Co is providing additional preferential deals, including 60-period interest-free finance, a 10-year unlimited mileage warranty and direct subsidies of 5,000 yuan for some models.

According to company officials, more preferential deals will soon be launched to cover more new models.

Dongfeng Citroen has also added a range of other attractive options, including personalized financial solutions and long-term maintenance schemes.
