Officials from the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) -- in Wuhan city in Central China's Hubei province -- have been promoting the automobile industry in the zone, with the startup of a livestreaming sales event for WHDZ-produced cars on May 10, according to the official WeChat account of WHDZ.
The products that were promoted during the event on the day were the three newest models of Wuhan-based Dongfeng Motor Corporation’s passenger cars.
Officials gave a presentation on the development process of the automobile industry in the WHDZ, the characteristics of Dongfeng passenger cars and the product advantages to netizens.
According to officials, it was the first time they’d participated in a live broadcast event. Through joint efforts, a series of preferential activities were launched to promote the development of WHDZ-based companies.
In the future, the WHDZ plans to deepen its cooperation with internet companies to help its resident companies in the development zone to raise their global profile.
