WHDZ hospitals open for non-COVID-19 patients

A total of 61 hospitals in Wuhan, capital of Central China’s Hubei province, have resumed routine medical operations and are open for non-COVID-19 patients, with three based in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), according to the official WeChat account of the WHDZ.

The three hospitals are Hannan Renmin Hospital, Wuhan Asia General Hospital and Hannan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

Hannan Renmin Hospital has opened the outpatient departments for emergency internal medicine, emergency surgery, general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology and traditional Chinese medicine.

The hospital has also opened inpatient departments for internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics and its operating rooms.

Officials said the hospital has 78 beds.

Elsewhere, Wuhan Asia General Hospital has reopened outpatient departments which cover emergencies, general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, urology, dermatology, physical examination center, oncology, heart Center, neurology, and Chinese medicine.

The hospital has also opened its inpatient department covering obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, general medicine, general surgery, operating rooms and the interventions department.

This hospital boasts 357 beds.

Finally, officials said, all of the outpatient departments of Hannan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital have been reopened for business.
