Junshan sci-tech park promotes return to work

Updated: 2020-03-25

Junshan Science and Technology Industrial Park in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) has taken a series of concrete measures to ensure the resumption of work and production by resident businesses, according to the official WeChat account of the WHDZ.

In mid-February, the park successively received applications for resumption of work submitted by its park-based enterprises.

It immediately organized its employees to prepare sanitizers and disinfectants. The staff then carried out full-scale and multiple cleaning and disinfection of the park's factory buildings, office buildings, elevators, bathrooms, parking lots and other areas.

To date, the disinfected area covered has reached 87,400 square meters, which is equivalent to 10 standard football fields, using about 600 liters of disinfectant.

Officials said the park arranged special personnel to meet the needs of enterprises, gave guidance on work and production resumption policies and actively assisted companies in registering the resumption of work.

They said it helped seven businesses to successfully complete the resumption filings, including Wuhan Honglang Automotive Interior Decoration Co and Jiangsu Yihang Auto Parts Technology Co.

The industrial park is strictly implementing a dual temperature measurement registration system -- that is, temperature measurement registration must be made when entering and leaving the park.

In order to ensure the safety of its employees, the industrial park is actively assisting enterprises to contact catering companies for distribution services and requires that enterprises organize employees to have their meals at different times.

To date, the industrial park has donated 1,500 face masks, 300 sets of protective clothing and 500 pairs of gloves to seven resident companies.
