Located in Xiangkou sub-district of Hannan district, the Xiquehu Huahai is a renowned scenic spot in Wuhan city in Central China’s Hubei province which covers an area of 7,800 mu or 520 hectares.
It is an ecological agricultural sightseeing park that integrates modern agricultural planting, horticultural breeding, agricultural science education, agricultural tourism, outdoor recreation and wetlands protection.
Within it, the Xiquehu Sunflower Garden was opened in 2016. With an area of 500 mu, it is the largest sunflower garden in Central China, and continues to delight and enchant visitors, according to local officials.
In addition to admiring flowers, tourists to the scenic area can also fly kites, barbecue or pick fruit and vegetables from the gardens.

Take Bus No 273 at Dengjia village and get off at Hannan Shamao Bus Station, then take a bus to Xiantao and get off at Wuzhigou.

Admission fee: 60 yuan ($8.49)
Ticket-free policy: Children under 1.2 meters in height are admitted free of charge.
Preferential policies: Children between 1.2-1.4 meters tall, seniors 60 and over, can purchase discount tickets with their ID cards. Tickets with the above preferential policies need to be purchased at the scenic spot during 9:00-17:00 hrs daily.
