A quarantine area has been set up in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) and it started to receive discharged novel coronavirus pneumonia patients on Feb 22, according to the official WeChat account of the WHDZ.
The quarantine area provides 14-day free medical observation for the discharged patients in the zone.
Its logistics support team has disinfected 4,500 square meters of rooms and public spaces, equipped with all the necessities for daily living and 280 rooms have been made available.
So far, a total of 27 discharged patients have been asked to stay in the quarantine area for medical observation and 253 rooms remain available.
