The 14th Chinese Young Generation Film Week opened in Wuhan, capital city of central Hubei province on Nov 25, gathering filmmakers of three generations, according to the Changjiang Daily newspaper.

The film week is scheduled to run until Nov 29, including an opening ceremony, a Chinese film exhibition segment and a filmmakers’ forum segment.

The film week, originally called the Chinese Young Generation Film Forum -- also known as CYGFF -- was initiated in 2006.

It changed its host venue to Wuhan in 2015 and the event got its new name of Chinese Young Generation Film Week this year.

The event was co-hosted by China Film Association and the people’s government of Wuhan under the auspices of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
