A human resources (HR) exchange conference was held in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) Nov 14 to discuss new trends in the human resources sharing platform, according to the zone’s official website.

The exchange conference, themed around “sharing, win-win and co-creation”, invited 54 elites to take part.

Lecturers on entrepreneurship training explained leaderless group interviews, detailing their organizational structure and operation mode.

To enable the conference attendees to better understand the structured leaderless group interview, they were divided into three groups and given roles as the examiner and the interviewer to practice leaderless group interviews.

Through the activities, it was found that a structured leaderless group interview can not only test the abilities which written tests and normal interviews fail to test, but also can reflect the roles of job seekers, which can provide a more comprehensive evaluation of job seekers based on their behavioral characteristics. This will make easier for HR personnel to identify the talents that enterprises need, and it is expected to be a new trend in the selection of talents in the future.

Also, the construction of a HR sharing platform for WHDZ was discussed at the conference. The attendees put forward their opinions and suggestions, and reached a preliminary intention to create a human resources sharing platform for the whole zone.
