A total of 10,000 5G base stations are expected to have been set up in Wuhan, capital city of Central China’s Hubei province, by the end of 2019, according to a work conference held on Nov 14.
According to the conference, by the end of 2020, a total of 20,000 5G base stations will have been set up in the city.
In addition, the meeting proposed that by 2022 Wuhan city will have built a world-class metropolitan power grid.
The power supply reliability of the central city power grid will be upgraded to 99.999 percent by that time, officials said.
