The third China Industrial Design Exhibition -- with the theme of “Design Innovation, Green Development” -- will open on Dec 13 in Wuhan, capital city of Central China’s Hubei province, according to the Changjiang Daily.
This year's exhibition will feature more than 120 national-level industrial design centers and a large number of provincial-level centers. The organizers said the exhibition will bring together many well-known domestic design works.
Exhibitors include well-known industrial design companies such as LKK, Artop, Feish, R&D Design and S.Point -- as well as industrial design centers for manufacturing companies such as CRRC, XCMG and BAIC.
The exhibition area will be around 33,000 square meters. More than 500 exhibitors will take part in the event.
In addition, guests and design companies from the United States, Germany, Japan, Austria and other countries will participate.
The organizers said that during the event, there will be a variety of activities such as the opening ceremony, summit forums and industrial design competitions.
To date, some 2,000 industrial design or product design companies have settled in Wuhan.
This year's China Industrial Design Exhibition is expected to see the signing of more industrial design projects, which will further enhance the development of the industrial design industry in the city.
