Singaporean projects come to WHDZ

An important international scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship event was held in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, on Nov 7, according to local media reports.

The event attracted the participation of WHDZ officials and a Singaporean delegation led by Huang Zuxin, Commercial Counselor of the Singapore Embassy in China.

According to the organizers, the event was aimed to recruiting top people from all over the world, gathering innovative resources and building a new platform for international innovation exchanges and cooperation.

Liu Maohua, a WHDZ official, told the event in a speech that the zone was accelerating its innovation and development and was also opening up all-round.

This would provide great opportunities for companies, institutions and professionals, Lui added.

Liu called for more investment cooperation with partners, both from home and abroad.

The event saw briefings being given by a total of 14 high-end Singaporean projects, officials said.

These covered areas including next-generation autos, information technology, smart cities, artificial intelligence, biomedicines, new energy, energy conservation and environment protection.
