The 16th China Chorus Festival is set to open in Wuhan, Central China’s Hubei province in 2021, according to the Changjiang Daily newspaper.
Wuhan city has been a frontrunner in hosting chorus events, with influential choral competitions held in the city, joining hands with the China Chorus Association.
The China Chorus Festival, which started in the 1980s, has grown to become the largest and most influential choral event in China.
The 15th session, concluding in Ningbo in East China’s Zhejiang province, attracted the participation of 5,000 people in 100 choirs from across the country.
