A group of children and their parents visited an internship center for teenagers at the Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co headquarters in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) on Aug 25.
During the trip, volunteers taught the visitors about automobiles, their production techniques, and their influence on people’s lives.
Participants also learned about safe driving and tried out a driving simulator during a lecture.
The center was co-founded by the zone’s Party committee and Dongfeng Honda with the aim of teaching people about automobiles and raising awareness of traffic safety among teenagers.
The center is the first of its kind in Central China, and it has received more than 20,000 primary and secondary school students in Wuhan and other cities throughout Hubei province.
