A lighting project is currently ongoing at the media center for the 2019 Military World Games in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone.
A total of 30,000 lighting systems have been installed at the center, along with more than 100 sets of control equipment.
According to authorities, technical workers will be on duty 24 hours a day during the games to ensure all equipment operates smoothly.
The media center has a construction area of 43,900 square meters, with four floors above ground and two underground.
Construction on the center finished on April 30, and decorating and equipment installation work are currently underway. A 5G network will also be set up at the center before the games.
The 7th Military World Games will be held in Wuhan, capital of Central China’s Hubei province, from Oct 18 to 27. More than 5,000 reporters from over 100 countries and regions are expected to come to the center to cover the event.
